Gaia Engineers has been engaged by KiwiRail on many projects since the Auckland Electrification Project in 2006.  Major projects included geotechnical design and construction observations for 4km of railway formation for Auckland Third Main, bridge replacement, formation upgrade at Otahuhu, Papakura, Westfield and Southdown stations, reinforced concrete level crossings for Waka Kotahi/ NZTA Safe Road project as well as North Auckland Line.
